Low Down Blues

Here’s a little minor key piano blues that I’m working on. It’s extremely simple. Click on the arrow at the bottom of the page to hear Low Down Blues

I woke up this morning with the low down blues

Nothin to win, and nothin’ left to lose

Nothin’ to lose

Hey baby don’t you turn away

Ain’t got much more I even want to say

There’s nothin’ to say

Hey baby don’t you turn away

I got the blues again

Been so long since I had these blues

Been so long since I had these blues

Been so long since I have these blues

Hey baby don’t you turn away

I ain’t got nothin’ more that I really want to say

Ain’t got no more to say

Piano Blues

The following is another Bumba composition which uses only two chords (so it’s real easy to play) and which demonstrates how desperate Every Day Another Story is for material. Also, I thought we needed a break from the talking animal sculptures.

Well I wake up in the morning with the blues in my head

I’m just glad that I ain’t dead

Whoa, I got them low-down blues again

Come here honey, come here quick

I got something I wanna say but I keep forgetting it

Whoa, I got them low-down blues again

I started walkin, walkin these blues

I been walkin a long time

I’m gonna walk these blues away somehow
I’m gonna walk these blues away somehow
Gonna keep on walkin these blues away
Gonna keep on walkin these blues away
